Best GVG build in the world
This build may be laughed at and ridiculed by many. It seems like such a noobish build that it just cant win. However With the expert tactics of those players at Beer Goggles Gaming its very easy to win with. Just check out the pics and you will see what I mean. Yes it is a build with 8 lightly modded PRE-MADE PALADINS!!!! The best part is that we at [BG] can actually win with it consistently.
So now to my point, I just want to hear some feedback of what every one thinks of it. I know the observers laugh alot in the observer mode. In the past few days we have BEAT temperal threshold [TT] (rank 8), and angry buinessmen (forgot what their rank was, under 100). Do you think we get insanely lucky? Maybe you think the premade palidin is overpowered? or do you think its how we run it? Will it be the next FotW? Could it be even simplier to play than IGAY? I welcome any and all comments.
*note: this is my first time attaching pics to a post, so let me know if they dont display right.
EDIT: blacked out vent info

Lol, there is only one reason you have won top guilds: ladder is frozen and they don't play seriously.... testing out silly builds and playing with low-level characters.

... TT was running their flareway build and I saw atleast one tiger emote.Angry businessmen were kicking our butts, most of the battle, gank ftw. But you are right, alot of guilds are just playing around. But if you look at the roster pic there are alot more wins than loses.

well, as long as you can win some matches, its a decent build with tactics.
I just have doubts in that if this build could go on a long run.

To start our new guild off and run it up the ladder, we used to run 6 pallys, an orders necro, and a smite monk. It wins in the same way IWAY does, it's just not quite as versatile.

JR,
It's good to see people have played a similar build, as far as 'not quite as versatile' as IWAY, we have beat 3 IWAY teams easy. This build seems to only work in the long run if you play the tactics right.
dont feel no pain,
you couldnt be more right, we faced a team that used wards well, they ended up with all their NPCs dead, and surrounding their guild lord till victory or death and BG won of course. So yes those are VERY effective to play definsivly with. only problem with ward builds, those builds generaly cannont split up, and we have only lost once to a build that couldnt split up.

You also might want to black out those names (against forum policy). Oddly enough, I have seen some of these players in game...

How about some more specific discussion of the build to benefit folks who might want to try it or defend against it. If this thread remains as purely a bragging thread then it has no place here and I am going to close it.

Well the only counter to this build that I see is another build with a lot of hexes and that can also splite up because if you have watched our matches we go all over the place to make them disorganised and they pick them off one by one then gank the lord. So thats the only type of build that could best us.

devils just basically summed up our strategy. We employ a scatter tactic, usually starting off with 2 going to clear out the enemies base and 6 going to occupy the enemy at the flagstand. That way if a team sticks around to kill us at the stand, their base will be wiped out of NPC's, and if they run back to defend we cap the flag and pick off the stragglers. from there on out its just basically a pressure build, that stays in groups of 2 people and merges and breaks when needed. then we gank and win usually. As far as defending, just be able to split into 2 groups or use degen + snares well. For anyone interested in trying this the key is to disorganize the other team...yes its a simple concept, can be very tricky to execute somtimes.
off topic:
hope that was what you wanted to see billiard. As far as "purely a bragging thread" I do belive someone actually mentioned using wards and trappers to defend against it. therefore there was already some build discussion, making it not a pure(100%) bragging thread.
Slightly off topic:
If anyone is interested in learning this build better or seeing it in action. We are gonna be running this build alot while the ladder is frozen to farm some faction, if you are interested in guesting sometime pm me ingame and I can put you on a list, and next time we need people I will go through the list in the order the names were recivied. *must have vent and be willing to have fun*

This build is very easy countered, use wards, aegis, and traps + throw hexes like soothing images, empathy, and spiteful spirit. I don't know if you brought a lot of smite hex and warriors cunning, but if you are planning useing this build I would recommend such skills
I really like when someone try some alternative builds

My Guild uses a build based on nukers, works perfect vs IWAY so I guess it will work vs this build too.

I'm pretty sure we didnt go against any teams that were not wearing armor. After the ladder is back up and running we may run this in a smurf guild, if we do i'll be sure to take screens of all the loses and ill post them in here if this is still open .

Well 'nuking' would be effective if we balled up like IGAY. However we NEVER group up in a group of more than 3 ppl (unless we are ganking). Also any build that cannot effictively split into two groups generally will have to camp their guild lord, which will eventually lead them to losing, beacuase they cant attack.
